Who we are
Workshopola is a marketplace for in-person classes, workshops and team-building sessions anywhere in the world, operated by Kennedy's B.V., Herengracht 564, 1017 CH Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Where we got your information
Your business and its classes are listed publicly online, on your own website. We prepare class listings only from a business's own public web pages — we did not receive the information from you directly, which is why we're giving you this notice.
How our crawler behaves
Our crawler identifies itself with the user agent “WorkshopolaBot/1.0 (+https://workshopola.com/sourcing)”. It respects robots.txt, requests pages at a polite rate, and only reads publicly accessible pages — it never logs in or gets past access controls.
Nothing is published without your approval
A listing we prepare stays private. We send it to you so you can review, edit, approve or reject it, and it appears in our public catalogue only after you approve it. Listings that are never approved are never shown publicly.
What we hold
Business contact details (business name, business email, phone, website, social links) and public class information (title, description, location, pricing, schedule, and photos as publicly shown on your website). We do not collect special-category data.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
To prepare a draft listing for you and invite you to review, approve and manage it, so that people and companies can discover and book your classes. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in building a class marketplace and reaching relevant businesses. If you approve your listing, we then process your data to provide the service under our agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Who we share it with
Platform service providers only, such as hosting and database (Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare) and email delivery and inboxes (Resend, Instantly, Google Workspace). Some may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep it
Until you approve your listing, or ask us to remove it. If you opt out, we keep a minimal suppression record so that we don't contact you again.
Removal and your rights
To have a listing or your information removed, email privacy@workshopola.com or hello@workshopola.com and we'll remove it. You can also access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and object to or opt out of marketing at any time — email privacy@workshopola.com or reply “unsubscribe” to any message from us.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data-protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the authority where you are based.
